A Hat in Time - Spaceship Hub Theories

 ---MAJOR SPOILERS---

If anyone doesn't know what 'A Hat in Time' is, then go here.

This game is a 3D Platformer (A genre that needs to come back alive more) and I have backed up the game, and I can see many people wanted to back it up.

Right now, there is an Alpha, and in the Alpha, there is a hub world that you can't currently explore.
The hub world is a spaceship, and right now, you can only select text.

However, the alpha version lets you add commands. The default is that the 'cheats' are off. You can turn it on. I've made a video a while back about being able to explore the spaceship.

In that video, you can find a lot of out of scene stuff. It's not too surprising because in the final version of the game, you will be able to explore the spaceship for sure!

Now I want to make and predict what it's going to be like in the final!

The Levels

When I explored it, I've discovered some 'level acts'. There was only two (Remember that it's not the final model) which would be "ACT 1 - DOWN WITH THE MAFIA" and "ACT 1 - TOILET OF DOOM".

CLOSER!!!

Very interesting right? Inside that 'liquid' thing, there is a room! It also has a 'zapper' thing on the top of the interior thing. It looks like you would warp based off that zapper structure.

This looks very similar to the "ACT 1 - DOWN WITH THE MAFIA" portal but without a zapper (I guess an escape pod?).
Another thing to note is that there is no 'ACT' symbol here. But I'm assuming that's because it's still very unfinished.
Yet, another note is that I can obviously tell that this is 'Chapter 3' because of the design. In one of the official snapshots of the third chapter, there was a structure that looked exactly like the stove fire thing in the space room, but with the flames on inside the snapshot.

So it came down to one very interesting theory.. about the forest level 'Subcon Forest'.
It's the only level themed design that doesn't have a 'shuttle' like design and there is nothing that interesting except for a bed.
Could it be? Is the forest all a dream or nightmare? Could the bed be the entrance? If so, then it has to be dreams or nightmares. In the final, you would go into the 'bedroom' and sleep. When you sleep, you start to have dreams or nightmares, and I'm guessing in A Hat in Time, it's going to be a nightmare (There are many creepy things in the level).

As for the rest of the chapters.. It's unknown. There is a forth empty room, but it has nothing. I'm assuming it's "Chapter 4".

The Hub Size

  From the fact that I've already found 3 chapters and an empty room near one, I'm going to have to sadly guess that the HUB world isn't going to be that big. I would love however if they at least added a second section of multiple doors though.

Hopefully they will add more rooms other than just chapters.. It's possible that they already did.
There is a room for a Slide, and a strange room with some kind of table. I don't think both of those are chapters.

The Ladder

 Does it go somewhere? Sadly it doesn't.. When you climb all the way, you just go into 'space'.
However, there is another room far out...

Yeah, this is outside of the map I've shown.

Inside that 'black room', it's very dark. Most of the shading is very dark colored and I don't know any commands to turn the shading off. I have a theory that the ladder goes there as the ladder part is the only tunnel that cuts off. I could not find any 'hole' under it, but it's probably because it's very unfinished.

Why is the room dark? I have no theory on this sadly. It could just be a shading problem or something, or maybe they wanted to hide something.

The Slide

I won't show snapshots right now because I don't want to find that folder again, but you can kind of see it in the map and you can see it on that video I've made. There is nothing inside the room, but the ground and walls look a lot like 'grass' but I'm sure it's an unfinished thing.. What's interesting about this room is that there is no other way in, and you can't get in from the slide.

But however, the slide works. You can slide down from the room, but you can't climb back up.

I have a feeling that they just didn't add a tunnel yet, and according to the official art-work from for the spaceship, there was two more doors added in, but wasn't in the alpha version. It's possible that one of those doors are planned to go to the room.

Or maybe, just maybe that each time you complete a level, you go into that room, and slide down for fun!

The Main Screen

Well I can't show snapshots right now, I mean I don't want to but you can find it on the video.

I think the main screen is the 'results screen'. I wouldn't be very surprised if that was the case. Haha

So that's my theories of the spaceship and the final.

I am very sure they are going to add more rooms, but I have a sad feeling that the spaceship isn't going to be that big though. But it's still worth having a hub world rather than a 'menu select' screen!

Why I Now Hate Alpha and Omega The Legend of the Saw Toothed Cave

This is not a review. I already made one for another site and is still pending it seems maybe. During that time, I didn't have much hatred for this movie, and tried to be open. It also brings out the lack of what the other films had more originality because it was part of the main theme of these wolves.

From my other post on where I complained about the cover and the plot, I noticed they still had a more focused on the original character than what the box made me thought of. So bravo for not going into what I feared! I still hate the box art though.

Now speaking of the box art, I now hate it more. Not only because of the pups, but it's now a symbol of a movie that seems extremely "overrated" with annoying selfish claims of this movie. So much that it's just making me almost wish the movie never existed now.

What made me hate it?

Blame some of the fans.

I remember something, and I wanted to talk about what the movie lacked and was worried that it was going to take away some of the elements that was a HUGE part of the characters identity. There was 2 1/2.
One of them was anthropomorphism, another was cartoon design, and the last one was 'wild'. The wild part is when they move more crazy.. After all, the more crazy, the more heavy it is!

Anyway, anthropomorphism to me was pretty much who the wolves were originality.
And in this film, I noticed a lot of the film lacked that. (Not counting talking) so I wanted to talk about it knowing that anthropomorphism was part of the spirit of Alpha and Omega, then some fans kind of 'bashed' claiming it's all 'perfect', and 'perfect'!!

Similar things happened when I mentioned a worry about the cartoon lack. They still had it, but I noticed some strange 'rough' rendering.

Though, my main concerned was the lack of anthropomorphism/personification.

So yeah, the big thing that made me so pissed was how some of those fans preached this 'realism' crap. Some acted like it was "better" (Limits actually), and probably worse: selfishly used some bias haters opinion as an excuse to say it's "good" to get rid of this.
I then wanted to openly talk more about the problems of getting rid of there identity (I made an article on why getting rid of anthropomorphism was bad), and things gotten worse from there.
Note: Some people kind of made up with me by now.

The fight was kind of ugly and near the end now, I still have some unfair, and rude people saying that I can't have my opinion spread through articles and such in some way (I don't listen I think). And I still extremely hate certain people, especially those who pretend that anthropomorphism isn't the same as wanting original characters to be more focused or return (Yet, anthropomorphism was a huge thing.), who block me for wanting to give a point, etc.

It's sad really. Because of this crap (Drama you called it?), I would personality give this film a 2/10 stars now.. Not in a critique way, (6 1/2 out of 10 would probably be critique), but a personal way.

I hate this film so much now and I hope the fifth film will avoid all the problems the forth movie had.
I want the fifth film to respect the original more. Not disrespect it.
Oh and YES this is an arguable fair point to bring out no matter what people say.

This film is extremely "overrated" to me I think and I often don't accept the term "overrated".



Maybe, just maybe if the fifth film did bring back there identity more, maybe I'll stop hating the forth film now. Maybe they are? After all, the forth film STILL had some anthropomorphism and some parts were a bit cartoony and had a bit of wildness.

Who knows?

What in the name of God happened to the original plot!? That is not what the original one said! Maybe it was a basic placeholder for now?

Please tell me that it's still going to be like that.. Also, please tell me that the "Alphas and Omegas" isn't referring to the pups only.

Honestly, whoever's idea it was, please listen to the fans more. Listen to the fact that they have been asking for the main focus on the original characters generally. That's kind of the general reason why it was loved.. You can't just make a sequel and then be like: "Oh, let's forget about the original characters everyone loved, and just move it to a tamed down, kid version about pups instead."

The original movie was still a kids like movie, but this isn't the type of kids movie fans wanted. It's possible to still have the main original focus style and focus on the adult wolves for peat's sake. They can still be full of surprises.. As I've said, please tell me the "surprises" part is referring to them..

Maybe it will be more focused on them in the forth movie? Though, this god damn picture and the "new plot" (?) description really bothers me.
As feedback, I want to see Kate, Humphrey, Lilly, Garth, etc, etc in the new, full, colorful graphics and art-style.. Seeing this worries me and disappoints me.. Seriously this isn't the role Rich, this really isn't the way.

This song might fit perfectly with the trolling Runt (Or whoever the name is) is doing.

Hopefully this picture is fake, but it doesn't look like it.. I've never seen a great "Photoshop" since the Mario Kart 8 DLC one.

What are you doing Richard Rich, are you even listening to us? Please tell us somehow. Tell us through facebook or something. Anyone who is running the info for this movie, it would be nice to let us know and give our faith back!

Like I said, they could still be focusing, but the recent box arts and new plots are probably giving me a sad, depressing sign.
